MtDNA is sex DNA that both males and females get from their mothers
It gets a bit more challenging if you are looking for someone who is not a male genetic ancestor of yours, but in no way impossible.

b, If your mother has a brother, or sister. They and their children, all come from the same grandmother.

AutoSomal DNA changes 50% with each generation as a person gets half of their genes from their mother and half from their father.

Each person will not get different DNA from each of their parents, they do not get the same 50% unless they are identical twins. That is why two sisters from the same parents, can have different hair color, height and so on.
